Favourite Past Time:
Run? after that not much time to do other things...but i enjoy swimming, kayaking and playing badminton.

About Me:

\"The person ahead of me is there to be overtaken.\" That\'s what motivated me and kept me going as I ran my first marathon. Of course, the important thing was to complete the race and along the way I realised how great it felt to be able to draw energy from the cheering crowd, from my fellow runners and after awhile, I started cheering for strangers along the way. After three marathons, I decided to take up the Pacer role as it would be really satisfying to be able to help other runners achieve their target times and I am sure it will be a very enriching experience getting to know runners along the way and having fun while completing the marathon.

I started running since my track and field days in 1999. Hence running has been a great part of my life that I cannot do without. Putting yourself to a challenge to complete the run and finally achieving it really gives a sense of achievement as well as an adrenaline rush that is simply amazing. Besides, running has also added many like-minded friends into my life. This was particularly important when I started working last year. Going down to i-run @ River Promenade weekly became a motivation to run instead of laze around after work. Chatting and running together with the friends I met there was really something I looked forward to.

Really looking forward to Stand Chart Marathon 2009 - it will be a special run as I join my 4:15h teammates to pace all runners aspiring to beat their PBs! :)
