About Me:
I started running regularly some 5 years ago when my previous company participated in mass runs such as the Stanchart Marathon. We were encouraged to participate and could sign for the full, half or quarter (10km) with the company paying our fees. I found running to be fun and at the same time helped me maintain a healthy weight as well as build my stamina.
I have been running a number of 10km races and this year participated in my 1st half marathon where I completed the race in a time just over 2 hours. That gave me the confidence that I can complete a half marathon and with training I can even improve my time.
I have been with the i-run group for over 2 years and have enjoyed the camaraderie with fellow runners there. When Team Fatbird took over the organising and leading the i-run, I found them to be a fun group and they were very helpful in giving running tips and advice. Running with the Team Fatbird have helped me improve on my running posture, stamina as well as my time. I am really excited to be able to share my experiences and limited knowledge as a pacer this year. Looking forward to completing the SCM half marathon in style.
