About Me:
Weison started running seriously when he was in Junior College. He took the unorthodox route of joining track and field even though he had no prior experience in the CCA. The going was tough in the beginning, but he gradually started to enjoy the training sessions and the post-workout high.
He did his maiden half marathon at the 2008 Army Half Marathon as a challenge for himself to complete it. Before that, the longest distance he ever ran was only 10km. In order to become a better runner, Weison constantly asks himself: \'Can I give more?\'. The answer was usually: \'Yes\'.
Weison was part of the successful 2hr Team FatBird Pacer team for the SCSM08. The best part of being a pacer was when runners came up to the team to thank them for leading them to finish the race under 2hrs. Weison has returned this year to the team to share his pacing experience, and is a key member of the formidable 2:00hr Pace Team. Watch for them on race day.
