About Me:
My first 10km race was back in 2003 at the Singapore Stanchart Marathon. Back then I couldn't even run 10km without stopping. I started running leisurely, and in 2005, I attempted my first 21km at the SCM. It was painful but I found finishing a race fulfilling and got hook on it. Since then I've done a few 10kms, half marathons, and am currently on my 2nd marathon in New York City.
I volunteered to be a Team FatBird marathon pacer because I want to be able to help those who have just started taking part in running long distance. Having a pacer is great because people tend to run too fast and blow up at the start. That and also because I have met and known the Team Fatbird people and I know how dedicated they are to spreading the healthy running bug!
I look forward to 6 December's 2hr30min half marathon group!
